Work on the visual and interactive identity for Kulturværftet has begun!
Christian Leifelt Studio develops the new identity for the Culture Yard (Kulturværftet) in Elsinore - in collaboration with Jørgen Skogmo/shiftcontrol and Annette Lindahl.
The Culture Yard is to be Elsinore's new cultural centre, combining a range of activites and institutions under one roof in the old shipyard. The building is undergoing a transformation into a piece of contemporary, multifacetted icon architecture (by Aart architects) and will accommodate the new central library, a theatre and concert hall with seating for 500 people, exhibition halls, wharf museum, conference facilities and more. The Culture Yard is located at the harbour front with kronborg and the new Maritime Museum and is a part of the ambitious Culture Harbour project of Elsinore.
The project is being developed for and in collaboration with Kulturværftet in Elsinore. The official opening of the Culture Yard and the launch of the new identity is scheduled to october 2010.
